Terms for
using the product.
Last updated 10 August 2026. The UXologist is provided by UXologist Ltd. Contact team@theuxologist.com with questions.
The service
The UXologist is an educational product for understanding and applying behavioural psychology in product work. It includes public learning material, member tools and paid Practitioner features. It does not replace professional legal, medical, financial, psychological or research advice.
Your account
You are responsible for using an email address you control, keeping access to your account secure and providing accurate information. You must not share paid access outside your own account, interfere with the service or use it to harm, deceive or unlawfully profile people.
Practitioner subscriptions
Practitioner is offered at £5.99 per month or £59.99 per year. The price and renewal period are shown again before payment. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel through your account and retain access until the end of the paid period.
When you subscribe, you ask us to make the paid service available immediately rather than waiting for any statutory cancellation period to end. Any cancellation and refund right you have under consumer law still applies, including the rules that may apply once immediate supply has begun. See the cancellation policy for how to contact us.
We may change prices for a future renewal after giving reasonable notice. A price change will not alter a period you have already paid for.
Educational guidance
Library content and Decision Lab recommendations are tools for reflection, not statements of fact about a person or guarantees of product performance. Guidance can contain errors or miss important context. You remain responsible for checking evidence, conducting appropriate user research and deciding whether a recommendation is suitable and ethical.
Material you provide
You retain ownership of material you submit. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process and display it back to you and to use our providers to deliver the requested feature. You must have permission to submit screenshots, research notes and other material and should remove unnecessary personal or confidential information.
Our content
The UXologist’s writing, structure, branding and original product material belong to UXologist Ltd or its licensors. Your membership allows personal professional use. It does not permit republishing the library, reselling access, bulk extraction or using the service to build a competing dataset.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the service accurate and available, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or that every item will remain unchanged. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded. Where the law permits, our responsibility is limited to reasonably foreseeable loss caused by our failure to provide the service with reasonable care and skill.
Changes and ending access
We may update these terms when the product or law changes and will provide appropriate notice of material changes. We may restrict an account used unlawfully or in serious breach of these terms. You may stop using the free service or cancel Practitioner at any time.
